Lab: Frequency Speculation Summit

The traditional broadcast spectrum is being rejected in favour of digital broadcasting technologies, leaving space open within the radio frequencies for new ways of using this virtual public airspace.  Telecomms companies are buying up bandwidth in the spectrum as if it were real estate with no planned use. LAB welcomes submissions of interest to join the Open Frequency R&D lab.  Please submit a brief statement of interest; outlining ideas for research and development to info@wearelab.org CultureClash: Open Frequency Following this week of R and D LAB invite the public to build devices to test prototypes developed in response to this research problem around Nottingham. LAB Talk Wednesday at 6pm Each Wednesday in the laboratory LAB will host public conversations with the project collaborators and other external specialists relevant to that week’s project from 6pm. We think that working together is much nicer than working on your own, as such the lab will be open for you to come and work on your own projects and share your ideas.
